Clinical Naturopathy

Naturopathy Herbs

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy, or ‘nature cure’, is a method of healing using various modalities such as herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, flower essences etc. to achieve the highest possible level of health for each individual. The main emphasis of this treatment is to support the body’s own inherent ability to bring about balance & heal itself.

How does it work?

It is proving valuable in the prevention of disease. True primary prevention involves addressing a person’s risk for disease & implementing a course of action designed to reduce controllable risk factors. Therefore, the whole person is considered, a Naturopath aids the individual to assume more personal responsibility for their health by adopting a healthy attitude, lifestyle & diet. Practitioner-only supplements may also be prescribed to assist in the body's healing process.

Most Commonly Treated Conditions

Naturopathy comes into its own when approaching specific conditions for which western medicine has no explanation, e.g.

  • Chronic digestive disorders

  • Natural pain management

  • Insomnia

  • Menopausal symptoms

  • PMS

  • Adrenal Fatigue

  • Inexplicable infertility

  • The consequences of chronic stress
